Making homemade peach juice is simple, and can be made using a blender or a food processor, following this easy juice recipe.

Fresh, homemade juice made with fresh peaches is a healthy, easy and delicious way to enjoy peaches when they are ripe locally.

 

INGREDIENTS:

6 ripe medium peaches

2 cups cold water

1 tbsp. lime juice,

1-2  tbsp. granulated sugar, optionalPicsArt_07-12-02.08.29

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  1. Slice the peaches in half. Cut or scoop out the peach flesh.PicsArt_07-12-04.30.23
  2. Drop the peach flesh into a blender. Add the water, lime juice, sugar and ice cubes.PicsArt_07-12-04.31.28
  3. Blend to liquefy the ingredients.
  4. If there are large pieces of peach still remaining, pour the juice through a strainer to remove them, if desired.PicsArt_07-12-05.17.11
  5. Pour into a pitcher or jug for storage. Alternatively, pour direct into glasses for immediate serving. Add some ice cubes, and a garnish of a peach slice and mint leaf.
  6. Stir before serving, and ENJOY the summertime flavour of healthy, homemade peach juice.

 

NOTES:

  • Select peaches which are somewhat soft to the touch, and that are producing a “peach” smell.
  • It can be drunk on its own, or combined with other juices, cocktails, or punches to add peach flavor to the drinks.
  • You may add honey instead of sugar.

WATERMELON BASIL SEED COOLER

Watermelon juice is an effective thirst quencher and coolant to beat the summer heat with amazing health benefits. Basil is healthy and provides a lot of cooling to the human body, so this is a no-brainer as a must have to drink every day. Best served when chilled, this quick recipe is sure to get you refreshed after a hot and tiring day.

I make this watermelon juice very often. I usually drink it a glass of it after my morning workout. As watermelon is made up of 92% of water. Thus it is very hydrating fruit. It is perfect to have after exercise or a day in the sun.

 

INGREDIENTS:

4 cups of chopped watermelon

2 tbsp soaked Sabja seeds( basil seeds)

Lime juice as needed

½ tsp black salt

¼ cup sugar (purely optional)

Salt to taste

Ice as required

Few mint leaves

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  1. Soak the basil seeds in water for half an hour.
  2. Place watermelon and ice into a blender.
  3. Pour in lime juice, black salt, sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour into serving glass and add soaked basil seeds and mint leaves before serving.
  5. Serve chilled.

  • Watermelon juice helps you lose weight. It is very low in calories and full of wholesome goodness.
  • This is the ultimate drink you need to hydrate yourself and get that constant nutrition supply.
  • It clears the skin as well as makes it smoother and bright.

Home Made Mango Frooti

I wanted to make frooti from a long time and finally, I made it…. its really yummy Vanished within minutes….the best part is its made at home, without preservatives and all that… It’s so easy to make and it’s so tasty, It’s amazing!

Recipe adapted …Suhan Mahajan

INGREDIENTS:
Ripe Mangoes – 2 pcs
Raw Mango – 1 pcs
Sugar – 3/4  cup or honey 3tbsp or as per your taste
Water 1 cup
Lemon juice 1 tsp

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cut both types of mangoes into small pcs and put it into a pressure cooker for steaming. Add 1 cup of water for steaming.325
  2. Simultaneously in a pan, pour 1 cup water and sugar. Heat this sugar syrup till sugar completely dissolves in water.326
  3. Once steamed, cool down the mangoes. After cooling, blend to form a mango puree using a hand blender.327
  4. Mango Puree can be sieved to remove the mango fibers. This step is optional.
  5. Add lemon juice and sugar syrup into the puree. This is the mango concentrate.
  6. For serving, add cold water to this concentrate and serve chilled with ice cubes.Enjoy!!!!

Mango Melody

“The king of fruits”mango is the most loved seasonal fruit.
Mango is the most attractive fruit and here is a quick, simple and absolutely yummy mango dessert.329 Mango Melody is a perfect summer dessert. It is rich and creamy and full of mango flavor. Its an easy peasy recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
Chopped Alphonso mangoes(different varieties-4
(badam,Alphonso, Kaser,Lalpatta ,)
(Finally chopped in cubes )
homemade Malai  — 1 cup(you can use Amul cream too)
Castor sugar or powdered sugar—-1/2 cup (you can add as per your taste)
Saffron strands —few
Mango pulp —-1/2 cup
Chopped mangoes for garnishing
basil leaves for decoration

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Pour Malai in a bowl. Stir in sugar, add saffron and mango pulp to it.330
  2. Add finely chopped mangoes and fold the mixture. It should be creamy, thick and smooth. Pour into glasses or bowls and serve chilled. ( refrigerate for 1-2 hrs)331

Aam Ka Panna (Raw mango Mint Shots)

Aam Ka Panna, a refreshing summer juice made with raw green mangoes.I loved the drink for the bunch of flavors – sweet, spicy and tangy…yumm!!

INGREDIENTS:

2 large sized raw mangoes
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp crushed black pepper
black salt to taste
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup boondi
1/4cup mintleaves

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly. Once washed, peel them off and chop them into thin slices and Boil it or pressure cook it
  2. Soak boondi in water after 5 minute squize it, Now the boondi is ready to serve it  with aam ka panna.
  3. Let it cool off for some time .Add sugar, black pepper, roasted cumin seeds and mint leaves to the boiled raw mango pieces.Turn this mixture into puree using mixi or hand blander and strain.
  4. Panna is on a thick side. Add water to dilute and adjust seasonings.
  5. Add  chilled water, Stir Well

Serve in shot glasses, topped with boondi.

Watermelon Orange cooler

In this post, i am bringing a refreshing combination of watermelon and orange in one juice topped with mint leaves. adding mint leaves is optional but it adds good taste & flavor and they also are cooling for our body.

This juice really tastes good and quickly recharges your body.

1 Cup = 200ml

INGREDIENTS:
Orange juice – ½ cup (freshly squeezed)
Watermelon – 1 ½ cup (deseeded)
Sugar – 2 tbsp
Ice cubes – 5 – 6

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. peel, chop the orange and extract the juice.
  2. you can use a juicer to extract the orange juice.
  3. blend the watermelon, mint leaves and sugar in a blender.
  4. pour the watermelon juice in a jar or bowl.
  5. add the orange juice to the watermelon juice.
  6. stir well and serve with or without ice cubes garnished with mint leaves,and serve immediately .

Notes:

  • Sugar can be replaced with 2 tbsp of honey.
  • I didn’t add water while making the juice.
